THE SOFTEST WORDS

Rose quartz develops principally in pegmatites and hydrothermal veins, where microscopic mineral inclusions give the quartz its characteristic blush tones. The soft colours of rose quartz evoke kindness, mercy, and tenderness—qualities repeatedly praised throughout Islamic history. The Softest Words reminds us that gentle speech, compassion, and empathy are among the greatest gifts we can offer one another, reflecting the gentleness of character encouraged by our faith.

The Softest Words is composed of thirty-three 10mm beads of A-quality rose quartz, strung by hand on pastel pink 0.8mm braided nylon cord. Surgical stainless steel dividers sculpted into rosebushes then separate the beads into three groups of eleven so that every SubhanAllah, Alhamdulillah, and Allahu Akbar may be easily grouped together. We call this divider "Blossom."

The two ends of the cord are then strung through a four-holed, metal-alloy Turkish durak bead before continuing up through one of our signature segmented imams. For every tesbih in the Translucent Soul Collection, we use an imam that we call the Muezzin.

The Muezzin is assembled from seven pieces of surgical stainless steel that work together to achieve a very delicate balance. It starts with a single stainless steel ball bead that braces the top of the durak. The decorative head of the Muezzin sits atop that ball bead and contains a chain of four others that extend through its hollow body, creating a stabilizing stainless steel spine. The body of the imam will slide up and down the spine by 10mm, creating an audibly satisfying "click."

The base of the Muezzin is adorned with a tepelik, or crown. The Softest Words wears a single 10mm bead of rose quartz for a tepelik, held tightly between two metal-alloy bead caps, one spiral and one floral.

The tesbih concludes with a metal-alloy tassel featuring two foxtail chains, each tipped with an artistic blossoming rose–returning the piece, at its very last detail, to the flower that inspired the name of the semi-precious gemstone that made The Softest Words possible. We call this tassel the "Twin Sunbursts."

Unless otherwise stated, every Küçük Bingöl Tesbih package includes a wooden presentation box, velvet pouch, jewellery cleaning cloth, unique supplication card, tesbih care card, and a resealable plastic bag containing a silica gel packet.
