REFLECTIONS OF FLAME

Tiger’s eye is born when quartz grows around ancient fibrous minerals within fractures in the earth, preserving their silky structure while iron-rich fibres weather into the golden bands that shimmer like dancing fire. Its warm colours whisper of the desert at sunset, across which countless Muslim pilgrims have journeyed throughout history. Reflections of Flame honours the quiet fortitude of those who lead their friends and families through pilgrimages with patience, determination, and trust in Allah, reminding us that true strength lies not in power alone, but in fulfilling the duties entrusted to us by the Divine.

Reflections of Flame is composed of thirty-three 10mm beads of AA-grade tiger’s eye, strung by hand on black 0.8mm braided nylon cord. 304 surgical stainless steel dividers engraved with striking honeycomb patterns then separate the beads into three groups of eleven so that every SubhanAllah, Alhamdulillah, and Allahu Akbar may be easily grouped together. We call this divider "Honeycomb."

The two ends of the cord are then strung through a four-holed, metal-alloy Turkish durak bead before continuing up through one of our signature segmented imams. For every tesbih in the Windswept Desert Collection, we use an imam that we call the Caliph, named for the title first borne by Abu Bakr upon being elected the head of the Muslim community when the Prophet ﷺ passed away in 632 CE.

The Caliph is assembled from four pieces of 304 stainless steel all working together as one to ensure structural integrity. Its decorative head rests immediately above a single stainless steel ball that separates it from the durak, holding a silent vigil as the bent and bowing body of the Caliph holds an eternal rukūʿ. The Caliph concludes in a single steel ball bead that clings tightly to the end of its body, preventing the tassel’s knot concealer from slipping through.

Beneath the base of the Caliph rests a tepelik, or crown. Reflections of Flame wears a single 10mm bead of tiger’s eye as its tepelik, held tightly between two spiral-patterned bead caps.

The tesbih concludes with a metal-alloy tassel featuring a trio of foxtail chains that end in teardrop pendants patterned in bands reminiscent of a tiger’s stripes. We call this tassel the "Triadic Spine."

Unless otherwise stated, every Küçük Bingöl Tesbih package includes a wooden presentation box, velvet pouch, jewellery cleaning cloth, unique supplication card, tesbih care card, and a resealable plastic bag containing a silica gel packet.
