Agate has been admired for thousands of years across many cultures. Banded agate is just one member of a massive gemstone family with sprawling variety. It forms when silica-rich water deposits microscopic quartz crystals layer by layer inside hollow cavities of volcanic rock, building delicate bands over millions of years. Throughout Islamic history, agate became especially cherished, not only for its natural beauty but also because narrations mention that the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ wore a ring set with a stone described as agate ('aqīq). Whether carved into signet rings or prayer beads, agate has become intertwined with centuries of Islamic craftsmanship. Eternal Traditions celebrates that enduring heritage—a reminder that while generations pass, faith, remembrance, and devotion continue unchanged.

Eternal Traditions is composed of thirty-three 10mm beads of AA-quality banded agate, strung by hand on black 0.8mm braided nylon cord. Heavy 304 stainless steel dividers sporting whimsical spiral patterns then separate the beads into three groups of eleven so that every SubhanAllah, Alhamdulillah, and Allahu Akbar may be easily grouped together. We call this divider "Mythic."

The two ends of the cord are then strung through a four-holed, metal-alloy Turkish durak bead before continuing up through one of our signature segmented imams. For every tesbih in the Windswept Desert Collection, we use an imam that we call the Caliph, named for the title first borne by Abu Bakr upon being elected the head of the Muslim community when the Prophet ﷺ passed away in 632 CE.

The Caliph is assembled from four pieces of 304 stainless steel all working together as one to ensure structural integrity. Its decorative head rests immediately above a single stainless steel ball that separates it from the durak, holding a silent vigil as the bent and bowing body of the Caliph holds an eternal rukūʿ. The Caliph concludes in a single steel ball bead that clings tightly to the end of its body, preventing the tassel’s knot concealer from slipping through.

Beneath the base of the Caliph rests a tepelik, or crown. Eternal Traditions wears a single 10mm bead of banded agate as its tepelik, held tightly between two spiral-patterned metal-alloy bead caps.

The tesbih concludes with a metal-alloy tassel featuring two foxtail chains that end in exquisite Kazaziye-themed pendants. We call this tassel the "Twin Infinities."

Unless otherwise stated, every Küçük Bingöl Tesbih package includes a wooden presentation box, velvet pouch, jewellery cleaning cloth, unique supplication card, tesbih care card, and a resealable plastic bag containing a silica gel packet.
