HUES OF JANNAH

Malachite forms in the oxidised zones of copper deposits, where copper-rich minerals slowly transform into vivid green stone. It was first used by the Ancient Egyptians in jewelry over 4000 years ago. Green is repeatedly associated with Jannah in the Qur’an, from its gardens to the garments of its people. Hues of Jannah reflects upon the promise of Paradise, reminding us that the beauty of this dunya is only temporary, while the beauty of the Hereafter endures eternally. Jannah is sought through sincere faith, prayer, repentance, remembrance, righteous deeds, and good character—and entered ultimately through the mercy of Allah alone.

Hues of Jannah is composed of thirty-three 10mm beads of AA-grade malachite, strung by hand on black 0.8mm braided nylon cord. Large 304 stainless steel dividers engraved with swirling spirals then separate the beads into three groups of eleven so that every SubhanAllah, Alhamdulillah, and Allahu Akbar may be easily grouped together. We call this divider "Vortex."

The two ends of the cord are then strung through a four-holed, metal-alloy Turkish durak bead before continuing up through one of our signature segmented imams. For every tesbih in the Horizon’s Palette Collection, we use an imam that we call the Sheikh, after the intellectual leaders of Islam. A sheikh is a lantern of wisdom, carrying the endless weight of religious knowledge while guiding hearts toward remembrance of Allah.

The Sheikh is assembled from four pieces of 304 stainless steel all working together as one to ensure structural integrity. Its decorative head rests immediately above a single ball bead that separates it from the durak while a second ball bead clings tightly to the end of its body, preventing the tassel’s knot concealer from slipping into its cylindrical interior.

The base of the Sheikh is adorned with a tepelik, or crown. Hues of Jannah uses a single 10mm bead of malachite for a tepelik, held tightly between two metal-alloy spiral-patterned bead caps.

The tesbih concludes with a metal-alloy tassel with six tails, each decorated with an eye resembling the swirling shapes formed by the green bands within malachite. We call this tassel the "Hexadic Watchers."

Unless otherwise stated, every Küçük Bingöl Tesbih package includes a wooden presentation box, velvet pouch, jewellery cleaning cloth, unique supplication card, tesbih care card, and a resealable plastic bag containing a silica gel packet.
